ColorBliss β€” WordPress Website & Visual Identity

ColorBliss is a personal color consulting service focused on helping clients express themselves through color in both personal and professional contexts. I partnered with the client to translate her brand values into a cohesive visual identity and a responsive WordPress website that balances warmth, clarity, and credibility.

The site was designed as a hybrid system: content is fully editable by the client using the WordPress block editor, while structural layout, styling consistency, and behavior are handled through custom CSS and theme-level configuration to ensure long-term stability.

πŸ› οΈ What I Did

  • Designed and implemented a cohesive UI aligned with the client’s brand goals
  • Built a WordPress layout that separates content editing from structural styling
  • Configured block editor patterns so the client can safely update content without breaking layout
  • Implemented responsive behavior using custom CSS rather than heavy plugins
  • Handled theme-level adjustments and light PHP customization where appropriate
  • Optimized markup structure for SEO fundamentals, performance, and accessibility

Tools: WordPress (block editor), custom CSS, light PHP, Figma, Canva, Google Fonts

πŸ”§ Technical Notes

  • Editor Strategy: Client-facing content is editable through standard blocks; layout constraints are enforced at the theme level.
  • Maintainability: Custom CSS and minimal PHP reduce reliance on plugin-heavy solutions.
  • Client Safety: Design decisions prioritize clarity and guardrails over visual gimmicks.
