Calm Bloom Elixir – Botanical Packaging Design

This self-initiated design project explores the creation of a fictional THC tincture brand. From brand identity and color palette to character design and product packaging, Calm Bloom Elixir blends vintage apothecary aesthetics with gentle storytelling. At the center of the brand is Mel the Bee, a whimsical mascot and herbalist who guides the user through a grounded, botanical experience.

Brand Identity Overview

A clean, nature-inspired identity centered around calming colors, accessible typography, and Mel — a custom-designed mascot. Libre Baskerville and Raleway were chosen for their blend of classic elegance and contemporary clarity.

Label Design & Product Packaging

The label layout was created in Canva using hand-picked brand colors, typography, and illustration. The final label was applied to an amber dropper bottle mockup using Photopea and a PSD mockup file. The result is a fully realized proof-of-concept for boutique THC tincture packaging.

Mel the Bee – Mascot Design

Mel is a gentle herbalist with a touch of sass — designed in pencil, inked by hand, and finished digitally with texture and warmth. She appears on every label as a quiet guide and brand voice. Her presence makes the product feel personable, earthy, and handcrafted.
